Pastoral Visitations, Services and Counseling: At Transfiguration the chief pastor is the Rector. He is responsible for the primary pastoral needs of members of the church, including hospital and home visits, pre-surgical prayers and anointing and emergencies. At various times, the Priest Associates and the Deacon assist him. Members also provide home and hospitals visits and often make meals for home bound and post surgical parishioners. Pastoral counseling and marriage and funeral preparation are available with the Rector by appointment.

VINDOBONA: Currently a nursing care facility in Braddock Heights, Vindobona held the first services of the newly organized “Transfiguration Mission” in the early 1960’s. The Rector holds a Holy Eucharist there once a month.

MIDDLETOWN MINISTERIUM: Meeting throughout most of the year, this ecumenical group is comprised of the pastors of the Middletown area congregations.

FREDERICK REGIONAL COUNCIL: Composed of the nine Episcopal churches in Frederick Council, this group meets monthly throughout most of the year to conduct regional ministries and provide a place where parish representatives can exchange information and ideas.
