Welcome to The Church of the Transfiguration! On behalf of the Wardens, Vestry and parishioners of this wonderful parish, I invite you, your family and loved ones to join us for worship in the Episcopal tradition. While we worship from The Book of Common Prayer and celebrate Holy Communion each Sunday, there are a number of other ways to discover how God is present in our midst. Transfiguration is a place of worship where ALL ARE WELCOME.

   Our members provide a strong sense of Christian hospitality to all who enter our doors.  We do so with a sense of enthusiasm and large doses of humor.  We are committed to Christian Education for children, youth and adults. Our various committees give way to opportunities for service in the parish, the local community, Appalachia and as far away as Panama and Africa. Those with an interest in singing and music can join our Choir. This is a vibrant and growing community of faith and it is our hope and prayer that we have an opportunity to greet you!
