Local Outreach
MIDDLETOWN FOOD BANK: A collection basket is in the narthex (entryway) to the church. A member takes food to the Food Bank each month for distribution to those in need in the community.
CLOTHING DROP-OFF: This area can be found downstairs in Memorial Hall. Clothes can be donated at any time during the year. The Frederick Rescue Mission comes regularly for pick up and eventual distribution. Please contact the Church Office to verify drop off hours.
COLD WEATHER SHELTER: Operating during the fall and winter months, the Frederick Cold Weather Shelter assists homeless men and women in having a place to sleep. A longer term housing program to assist people in employment, housing and living skills is called the Exodus Project.
SOUP KITCHEN: Located at the Community Action Agency in Frederick, church members provide a hot meal to men and women during the year.
HIGHWAY CLEAN UP: A designated portion of Alternate 40 between Braddock Heights and Middletown was adopted OVER 10 years ago and each year, a group from the parish has a road side clean up of trash and debris.
