 Worship Volunteers

The Liturgy is our Order of Worship. The word comes from Greek and literally means “the work of the people.” In addition to choir members and priests, we depend upon many other volunteers in our worship services. Here are the ways we can volunteer to help in worship services at COTT.

  • Acolytes: Hamp Tisdale, Acolyte Master
  • Altar Guild: Sue Wirths, President
  • Flower Guild: Ruth Wallace
  • Lectors: Read the Scripture Lessons
  • LEMS: Lay Eucharistic Ministers help distribute communion.
  • Tellers: Count the offering and make bank deposits.
  • Ushers/Oblations: Welcome members and greet newcomers to church, take up money offering and assist people to communion.
